There is no skill tree, upgrades to your character are completely automated upon collecting orbs. Sadly, very minimal in terms of RPG features. ![]() Verticality is a huge part of the game play, so if you enjoy flying around buildings, there's your thing. The urban jungle was a character of its own in that series. There's also the Crackdown series, which is kind of old at this point, but it was fun and definitely in a futuristic urban world. Jackson is a dead caravaneer who can be found in the Commonwealth in 2287. Parkour is a big part of all Ubisoft RPGs, and the free running mechanic is really well done and very fluid and easy to control, so if you enjoy action platforming, that's something you will enjoy in these games. The non-traditional, non-high fantasy, very realistic settings and worlds are a real breath of fresh-air for me, but I also love the more traditional RPG focus on creating a unique build suited to your playstyle and then playing that role. Both are worth checking out!Īs a non-traditional RPG player, I'm really into Ubisoft's RPG-lite franchises: those two, and Assassin's Creed. From what I recall, online play was a big element of The Division, which I didn't enjoy as much, but still, a good franchise if you are a solo-only player like me. Watchdogs a bit less so, stealth or hacking is often an option. You kind of have to focus on full combat as the main option. But they are more combat focused, and don't feature the emergent gameplay that is more typical of traditional RPGs. The face plates of the helmet extend toward the back of the head, revealing the wearers face, while their weapon is holstered. The assaultron helmet appears to be the hardened head armor of an assaultrons head modified to be used as protective headgear. The Division and Watchdogs both have RPG-like elements. The assaultron helmet is a helmet in the Fallout 4 add-on Automatron.
